Rapture? Tribulation? Millennium? Death? Second Death? Second Coming of The Messiah? *** First of all the word "rapture" is not found in the Bible. The American Heritage Dictionary describes it's meaning to be a lofty emotion, or ecstasy or the transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to heaven. Second of all the word "millennium is not found in the Bible. The American Heritage College Dictionary describes it's meaning to be the thousand year reign of The Messiah from rev. 20:6-7 REV 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of The Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years. REV 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, The word tribulation is found 26 times REV 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; REV 2:13 I know you works, and where you dwells, even where Satan's seat is: and you hold fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells. DAN 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. DAN 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. DAN 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. > REV 20:5 But the r of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. > REV 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of The Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years. **************************************************** What happens after the second resurrection? Will the earth be destroyed? What about the second death? **************************************************** REV 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. ISA 61:6 But you shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves. 1PE 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; REV 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. > REV 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, > REV 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 1PE 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: EZE 38:2 Son of man, set you face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, REV 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. > REV 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. ISA 8:8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of you land, O Immanuel. > REV 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. > REV 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 2PE 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. DAN 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. **************************************************** Judgment? **************************************************** >MAT 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. MAT 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: JUD 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, > REV 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 2CO 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of The Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be PSA 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. ZEC 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. **************************************************** NO MORE DEATH **************************************************** > REV 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 1CO 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. REV 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. ISA 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. 1CO 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 1CO 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. **************************************************** What happens to the earth? **************************************************** > REV 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. ISA 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 2PE 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness. ISA 57:2 He shall enter into peace: they shall r in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. > REV 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ISA 52:1 Awake, awake; put on you strength, O Zion; put on you beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. GAL 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. HEB 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. ISA 54:5 For you Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and you Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. ZEC 14:9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. PSA 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. ********************************************** Will God set His Kingdom on earth? ********************************************** > REV 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. LEV 26:11 And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you. 2CO 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. REV 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. > REV 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. ISA 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. ************************************************* One last Chance? ************************************************ REV 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. REV 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. REV 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. REV 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the r in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. REV 2:25 But that which you have already hold fast till I come. REV 2:26 And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: REV 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. REV 2:28 And I will give him the morning star. REV 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. ****************************************************** What will the New Jerusalem be like? ****************************************************** ZEC 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. > REV 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, EZE 48:1 Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goes to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan. EZE 48:2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the w side, a portion for Asher. EZE 48:3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the w side, a portion for Naphtali. EZE 48:4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the w side, a portion for Manasseh. EZE 48:5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the w side, a portion for Ephraim. EZE 48:6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the w side, a portion for Reuben. EZE 48:7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the w side, a portion for Judah. EZE 48:8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the w side, shall be the offering which you shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the w side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it. EZE 48:9 The oblation that you shall offer unto the Lord shall be of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth. EZE 48:10 And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the w ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst thereof. EZE 48:11 It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray. EZE 48:12 And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the Levites. EZE 48:13 And over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand. EZE 48:14 And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the first fruits of the land: for it is holy unto the Lord. EZE 48:15 And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof. EZE 48:16 And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the w side four thousand and five hundred. EZE 48:17 And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the w two hundred and fifty. EZE 48:18 And the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city. EZE 48:19 And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel. EZE 48:20 All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: you shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city. EZE 48:21 And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the w border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof. EZE 48:22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince. EZE 48:23 As for the r of the tribes, from the east side unto the w side, Benjamin shall have a portion. EZE 48:24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the w side, Simeon shall have a portion. EZE 48:25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the w side, Issachar a portion. EZE 48:26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the w side, Zebulun a portion. EZE 48:27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the w side, Gad a portion. EZE 48:28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea. EZE 48:29 This is the land which you shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord God. EZE 48:30 And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures. EZE 48:31 And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi. EZE 48:32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan. EZE 48:33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun. EZE 48:34 At the w side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali. EZE 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, the Lord is there. > REV 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; > REV 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: > REV 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the w three gates. > REV 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. ZEC 2:1 I Lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. > REV 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. > REV 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. > REV 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; ISA 54:11 O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay you stones with fair colors, and lay you foundations with sapphires. > REV 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. > REV 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. REV 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. > REV 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 1KI 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built? ISA 66:1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? *************************************************** SATAN LOOSED FOR A SEASON ***************************************************** > ZEC 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. ISA 60:12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. > ZEC 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. > ZEC 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. > ZEC 14:20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. > ZEC 14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and sees therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts. COL 3:17 And what so ever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. ISA 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. REV 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defiles, neither what so ever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
