PARABLE OF THE BEAM AND THE MOTE > MAT 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. *** to judge: to pass sentence upon; condem *** *** THIS IS NOT SAYING, the Lord has nothing to say about: sins, OR that it's not our job to tell our brother when he is walking in sin according to the word of God, OR that we do not have an obligation and a duty to uphold the word of God, especially if the Word of God is being miss-used, miss-quoted or miss-represented. God is telling us not to cast Judgment, to condem, to assess a punishment." Vengence is mine saith the Lord" *** [commentary] LUK 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: EZE 16:52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters. ROM 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. ROM 14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 1CO 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 1CO 4:4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. 1CO 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. JAM 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of {his} brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. > MAT 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. MAR 4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. LUK 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. > MAT 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? LUK 6:41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? LUK 6:42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye. PRO 18:17 {He that is} first in his own cause {seemeth} just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him. > MAT 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam {is} in thine own eye? > MAT 7:5 Thou hypocrite, *** JESUS PLAINLY STATES HERE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO *** first cast out the beam ----------------------- out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see --------------------------------------------- clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's -------------------------------------------------- eye. ---- LUK 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. PSA 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. PSA 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. PSA 92:14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; ISA 5:4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes? 2TI 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2TI 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all {men}, as theirs also was. MAT 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by {his} fruit. ROM 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. ROM 8:6 For to be carnally minded {is} death; but to be spiritually minded {is} life and peace. ROM 8:7 Because the carnal mind {is} enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. ROM 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
